Day 1: Starting Over

There is no plan for this part of the website. It’s a daily update. Plain and simple.

One goal is to update it daily. You’d be surprised how hard this goal will be for me to attain. I get sidetracked too easily, and my procrastination gene just will not leave me alone.

I’m not really sure yet what the other goals are. It’s a place to throw things at the wall and see what sticks. I’m looking to change some things in the shop going forward, so this is a place I can work some of those thoughts out without having to worry about themes or blog content formatting.

I’m thinking about putting a product page on the website with some of the stock duct items we build. But I haven’t figured out what I’m going to start with. I would also like to build a page for customers that want to order custom transitions. It’s a work in progress, but I think it could help both me and the customer who may not know what questions to ask when ordering a custom transition for a job.

There’s just a lot of things I need to add and look into as the company grows a bit from the 2-3 person team I have now.

Side note: The Knocking Tin Blog that you see in the navigation is a completely different thing. Its goals are and will be different than what may or may not go on in this space. This is a sheet metal shop owner’s mind dump.
